Summer leaves us and the autumnal equinox signals that it is time for a new season. This means only one thing: weekend dates multiply and Turin is full of events. Among them: festivals, cinema, music and sports. If that’s not enough, you can enjoy tastings and activities at the Terra Madre Salone del Gusto and visit museums for one euro during the European Heritage Days.

Open Day at Lombroso 16 Cultural Center
On Saturday, September 24, the Lombroso16 Cultural Center will reopen its doors to the public, including theater performances, concerts, sports demonstrations and the presentation of the initiatives planned during its new cultural season. Marathon Curve Festival in Hiroshima Mon Amour
From 15.30 the Curva Maratona party starts at Hiroshima Mon Amour with great guests such as Pasquale Bruno, Gianluigi Lentini, Stefano Sorrentino, Moreno Longo, Luca Mezzano and Renato Zaccarelli. Among the participating artists: Andrea Scarpa, Boosta and Vicio (of Subsonica) Pippo Frau, Ryden, Removal, Roberto Molinaro, Sensounico and Willie Peyote.

FalcheraBarriera – Walk with stories
From Corso Giulio Cesare passing through the secret parts of the Barriera di Milano, the MetroTrail guides will accompany the public with the stories and tales of the past, present or future of the area.

Preview Corto e Fieno, the rural cinema festival in Cortile del Maglio
Corto e Fieno is the international festival of rural cinema on Lake Orta, between the provinces of Novara and Verbania. Issue number 13 is scheduled for October 6th, but on September 24th there will be a special preview in Turin. Start time 8.30 pm One hour of water film screenings. Water and man come together in many “small” stories to be told and experienced: around the world in five incredible short films.

ImprovNBA- Comic Theater improv show at the Q77 Theater
On Saturday, September 24, laughter will star with Comic Improvisation at theater Q77. As in the famous American basketball championship there will be 2 teams, 10 players and a basket.

Turin Record Fair
Disco Fair returns to Turin on Sunday 25 September. A wall of records, a fortress of music, a bastion of vinyls, CDs, DVDs, gadgets, rarities, for collectors, enthusiasts and the simply curious. You will have the opportunity to find the missing piece of your collection among thousands of records.
The exhibition will also take place in case of bad weather, being in the covered area of the market.

Open Day at Circolo Amici della Magia in Turin
On Sunday September 25th Circolo Amici della Magia in Turin opens the doors of its new headquarters (in the Ex Café Procope premises) proposing an “Open Day”. Visitors will be able to discover the charm of a Turin excellence through magic shows by Circolo students. As well as a guided tour to discover some ‘grand illusions’ that exist within the Club grounds and a real magic show in the theater room and a photography exhibition.
- There are two time slots in which the public is invited to participate:
– morning from 10:00 to 12:30
– afternoon from 15:00 to 18:30

Musical journey to Ancient Egypt – Music and magic of the places
On Sunday, September 25, on the occasion of the European Cultural Heritage Days 2022, the itinerant concert review “Music – Magic of Places” will take place. The concerts of the Alchimea Chamber Group will be in conversation with the exhibition “Discovering Ancient Egypt” set up at the National University Library of Turin. In the program selected pieces to read the fascination of Ancient Egypt in music.
The appointment includes, in fact, visits to the exhibition and concerts in the Auditorium of the Oratorio San Filippo Neri. On this occasion the architectural complex of San Flippo Neri will be explored, a place of great historical and artistic importance in the heart of Turin.

Screening of the movie “The Little Prince”
On Sunday 25 September at 20.30 the animated film “The Little Prince” by Mark Osborne will be screened for the review “Possible worlds – small atlas of animation cinema”. The film is the film adaptation of the famous novel of the same name written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

Saturday and Sunday: weekend events in Turin
Terra Madre Salone del Gusto
Terra Madre Salone del Gusto, the global event dedicated to food and food politics, continues this weekend. Parco Dora will host it until Monday 26 September with a rich program of events and exhibition spaces that highlight how food can be a precious opportunity for regeneration. European Heritage Days, Europe’s biggest cultural event, return on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September. In addition, special openings of state museums are scheduled on Saturday evening with admission at a nominal cost 1 euro.

On The Road- Torino Street Sports Festival
On the Road – Street Sports Festival brings the opportunity to experience and experiment in city parks free unconventional and street sports.
