Loacker rewards schools that have won the “Journey to the Land of Sustainability” project.

The competition ended with the evaluation of the 20 most valuable projects and the announcement of two winners: o Maria Immacolata secondary education – Pinerolo (TO) and Mennella first grade high school – Lacco Ameno (Ischia).

The Liceo Maria Immacolata in Pinerolo presented a choral work focusing on environmental consumption and awareness of food purchased daily. Thanks to the support of the teachers, the students realized that most of their peers do not have a clear idea of ​​the nutritional values ​​and the place of production of the food they consume. After devising a questionnaire and submitting it to the whole school, the analysis of the answers resulted in an attractive narrative method: the creation of a “travel diary” and a documentary film.

The students got to know and discover two characteristic products of their territory – the wine and the honey – through interviews, studies and visits to the places where these two excellencies are produced.
